Fostoria Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Fostoria, Ohio.
The Club opened in 1916 with a log cabin style clubhouse, 9-hole golf course, and 2 clay tennis courts. The course was redesigned and expanded to its current 18-hole configuration in 1971 by course architect Jack Kidwell.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,427 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,988 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 580 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 9, a par-3 that plays to 142 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 12, the 580 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 1, a 269 yard par-4.

Been playing it since the 1980's when it was private and the conditions have held about the same, when they have it tuned up for a outing. Always stop and play when i'm in the area. Fairly flat track with raised greens, hardwood trees and watered fairways keep it playing very fair. They will work out good deals with groups and is worth the stop if traveling through. Some par 4's are short and tricked up hitting irons/hybrids off the tee for position but fairways/greens are in good shape.
